Day 3 Cape Town
Enjoy a day at leisure. We highly recommend the City Sightseeing Bus which has two routes through the city of Cape Town. You get on and off where you like and spend the day exploring the Mother City. The commentary on the bus is excellent and, if the weather is good, you can sit upstairs and enjoy the sunshine. Or, we are happy to schedule a day of sightseeing with touring of your choice – consider Robben Island or Table Mountain.

Day 4 Franschhoek
Idyllically situated in the Cape Winelands, this peaceful country retreat is one of the oldest towns in South Africa. The once-sleepy little village is named Franschhoek, meaning ‘French Corner,’ as it was founded by French Huguenots. The fertile valley of Franschhoek boasts a rich heritage showcased at the fascinating Huguenot Memorial Museum and the Cape Dutch architecture in much of the village remains remarkably well preserved. The town’s proximity to Cape Town allows for pleasant day trips during which visitors can explore the area’s many world-class wine estates and impressive range of excellent restaurants or simply browse the quaint, upmarket boutiques strewn along the town’s lovely tree-lined avenues.
Your guide will pick you up this morning for your winelands tour. You will get to visit the main attractions such as the towns of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek, as well as our world-famous estates. But even better… you will also get to taste many of our top South African wines and visit hidden gems only known to locals. We tailor the day to suit your interests and palette.
After your tour, you are transferred to your winelands hotel.
