Upon arrival in Athens today, you will be met and immediately transferred to your hotel in Nafplion. Next, drive to Mycenae, a place mentioned in the writings of Homer, the ninth century BC poet. You’ll enter the Mycenean citadel through the Lion’s Gate and have time to explore the ruins. Continue on to the third-century theater of Epidaurus, one of the best-preserved classical Greek structures and known for its superb acoustics. Day 6 Rafina Port / Mykonos Island
After breakfast, set out on the 5-hour drive to Rafina, Greece’s second-largest port. En route, visit the village of Falatados, a small village with a history dating back to the 14th century and where agriculture and cattle breeding still play an important role of the locals. Visit the church of Agios Ioannis and admire its marbled decoration then hike uphill to Exomburgo to admire the stunning view of the Aegean. From here, continue on to the village of Koumaros where you take a short break to try the traditional Greek coffee. You then visit the villages of Volax and Agapi before heading to the port for the short boat ride to Mykonos Island. Volax is a tiny village almost hidden among round, giant granite rocks with houses built right onto the rocks. Its architecture is very unique to this island and its tiny Catholic Church and folklore museum are highlights of the village. Agapi is a picturesque village shaped like an amphitheater on the edge of a valley and is one of the most traditional villages on Tinos Island
On arrival in Mykonos, take a walking tour of this “Little Venice” town and the picturesque alleyways. Enjoy dinner at a tavern by the sea and settle in for a two-night stay at your lovely hotel.

Day 7 Delos Island/Mykonos Free Time
After breakfast, you will depart by boat for the Cycladic Island of Delos, the mythical birthplace of Apollo and Artemis. The word Cyclades derives from the Greek word kyklos, which means “circle.” The five islands of Mykonos, Tinos, Paros, Naxos, and Syros form a circle around the sacred island of Delos. You will see the famous Lion Avenue, the three temples of Poseidon, the stadium, and the old gymnasium. View artifacts from the 6th century BCE in the museum. You will return to Mykonos in the early afternoon. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure, exploring or relaxing at the beach.
Mykonos Town (Chora) is a stunning Cycladic town with a maze of tiny streets and whitewashed steps lanes, houses and churches in the middle of a wide bay. The streets are lined with little shops, boutiques, art galleries, cafes, stylish bars, and restaurants while maintaining its traditional Cycladic architectural style due to the island’s strict building regulations.
