Gusti Made Budiatmika

Gusti Made Budiatmika, aka “Budi,” knew he was destined to be a tour guide. Straight out of high school, Budi got a job in tourism, and was quickly promoted to work at the tourism desk at a five-star hotel in Nusa Dua. But he knew that his true passion was to be out in the field, with clients, so he made a risky move by leaving his desk job and training to be a tour guide. He passed the test with flying colors in 1990 and has been guiding ever since.

Budi also got married in 1990, and shares his love of guiding and Indonesia with his daughter and two sons. Originally from Denpasar, Budi has guided all over Indonesia, including Bali, Java, Sumatra and Borneo.
